Thank you for stopping by to get to know a little about me and Butter & Batter Cookie Bar. I am Lisa, the owner/founder of Butter & Batter Cookie Bar. After leaving a long career, I took time to be home with family, and in that process, I found baking to be therapeutic and provide me with a creative outlet I needed. I started Butter & Batter in Spring of 2019 as I have always had a love for being in the kitchen and baking. Baking for others brings me a deep sense of joy and peace. With the support and encouragement of my family and friends, I embarked upon this journey and I am proud of all I have accomplished as a woman-owned bakery business. I have amazing support from my husband and children and you will often find my husband, Nick, helping me out and side-by-side in the kitchen with me.

WOMEN-OWNED AND FAMILY OPERATED
As of 2021, my husband Nick has jumped on board the Butter & Batter bandwagon to volunteer his time and support me. Nick has proven to be an essential part of the business. I could not do even half of what we are able to now if it were not for the support and help of Nick. We have been able to expand our business locally and out of the area with some of his ideas and assistance. We make a good team and love being able to have time in the kitchen together.
